Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee our steel drafting projects. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader, responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects within scope, time, and budget constraints. Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineering teams to define project requirements.
Execution and Monitoring:
Oversee the day-to-day execution of steel drafting projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential issues to keep projects on track.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team, including steel detailers, drafters, and support staff.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Client Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and successful project delivery.
Resource Management:
Allocate resources efficiently to meet project demands and optimize productivity.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure the availability of required skills for project execution.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial objectives are met.
Implement cost-saving measures without compromising project quality.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Proactively address issues to prevent escalation and ensure smooth project progression.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the steel drafting, construction, or related industry.
Strong understanding of steel drafting processes and construction project management.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
PMP certification is a plus.
